These terms govern the Prairie Bones Partner Program — where an approved business (a "Partner") promotes and links to Prairie Bones products from its own website, and Prairie Bones LLC ("Prairie Bones," "we," "us") sells and fulfills those orders. By enrolling or placing our widget or links on your site, you agree to these terms.
You are an independent business. Nothing here creates an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or franchise relationship. You have no authority to bind Prairie Bones, to make promises on our behalf, or to represent yourself as us. You control your own website, marketing, schedule, and business expenses.
You are responsible for all taxes on your commission income. Before we can pay you, you must provide a completed IRS Form W‑9. If we pay you $600 or more in a calendar year, we will issue you a Form 1099‑NEC. Because you are a marketing referrer and we are the seller of record, you have no sales‑tax collection duty on these orders.
We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, revocable license to use the Prairie Bones name, logo, and product images solely to promote the approved products while you're an active partner. We own all of our intellectual property; you gain no ownership. This license ends the moment your participation ends.
Customers are Prairie Bones' customers. You will not receive their names, contact details, or payment information, and you must not attempt to collect, intercept, or store any customer personal or payment data through the program.
The program and our products are provided "as is." We do not guarantee any level of sales or income, uninterrupted availability, or that the program will continue. Products are subject to availability, and we may add, change, pause, or discontinue products or the program at any time.
Either of us may end your participation at any time, for any reason, with notice. We may suspend or terminate immediately for any violation of these terms, fraud, or conduct that harms our brand. On termination you must promptly remove our widget, links, name, logo, and images. We will still pay out commissions that were legitimately earned and unpaid before termination, except where fraud or chargebacks are involved.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Prairie Bones is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability under the program will not exceed the commissions we paid you in the three (3) months before the claim. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your website, your marketing, or your breach of these terms.
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice (for example, by email). Continuing in the program after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the appropriate state or federal court located in Kansas.
