We're a young Kansas company making real beef chews with real care, and we're looking for two special people to grow with us: one to help build the business from the foundation, and one to be the fun, friendly face of the brand.

Two roles, one mission

We're small, so every person matters. Right now we're looking for two very different people — apply for whichever one is you (and if it's both, tell us).

Role 1

Founding team → future leader

Work side by side with the CEO to lay the foundation — the systems, the standards, and the early wins that decide what this company becomes. The person who helps build the foundation is the one who ends up leading from it. We'd rather grow an executive than hire one.

What you'd do

  • Work directly with the CEO on day-to-day operations
  • Own real problems end to end — not just tasks
  • Build the systems and standards we don't have yet
  • Grow into leadership of a whole area as we scale

Who you are

  • Ownership mindset — you fix it because it's broken
  • Resourceful; you'd rather build than be handed a playbook
  • Honest, dependable, and easy to trust
  • You want to grow into leadership and mean it
Role 2

Social & community creator

Be the fun, friendly face of Prairie Bones. You'll make people smile on camera, tell our story on social, and shake hands at the farmers market. If you light up around people and love making playful videos, this is the one.

What you'd do

  • Star in fun, real marketing videos — on camera and loving it
  • Run our social media: posts, reels, behind-the-scenes
  • Work farmers markets and local events — our table, our people
  • Build genuine relationships with customers and the community
  • Turn everyday moments into content people want to share

Who you are

  • You love being on camera and it shows
  • A knack for social media and playful storytelling
  • A people person — warm, outgoing, easy to talk to
  • You'd have fun at a farmers market on a Saturday morning
  • Bonus: you already make videos or run a following
Straight talk: these are ground-floor roles at a young company. Pay and responsibility grow with the company and with what you prove — we can't promise a title on day one, but we can promise real ownership, a direct line to the CEO, and a genuine path forward for the right person.
